The book
Classroom Aesthetics
Reggio Emilia Inspired Spaces, Materials and Learning Environments for Early Childhood.
This book grew out of practice, rather than theory. Out of years spent in schools and nurseries, in ateliers, corridors and courtyards: observing children, listening to teachers and questioning spaces. For me, writing about aesthetics in education means talking about care and responsibility for what we create every day.

Who is it for?
This book is for teachers, educators, atelieristas and trainers who feel the need to pause and think. For those working in educational settings and schools who want to question their everyday practice, materials, spaces, gestures and choices.
It is for those seeking words to accompany their practice, rather than recipes. For those who design educational environments and want to do so with greater awareness, care and intention. For those who believe that beauty is a responsibility, not a detail.
If even one page helps you see a space differently, this book will have done its work.
